the full expression God, creator of heaven and earth, and is fully a person and fully God. This person, Jesus came from Heaven to earth to show us what and Who love is. By his death on a cross, he demonstrated God's love for us in that while we where still sinners (basically a people who live for themselves with no regard for others) loved us and paid the price for this sin by his death. Though some might die for a good person - very few (if any at all) would die for someone who could care less. Jesus did this so that we might reach out (call upon, cry out, pray) to God. The bible tells us that "everyone who calls on His name will be saved" - we believe this.

7Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son[b] into the world that we might live through him. 10This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for[c] our sins. 11Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. yet, meet us in person!

If you want to know this love that surpasses ALL understanding - just ask Him (God). He is every present and always listening...and He loves you and wants all people to live in complete unity and freedom.
