one of our core values. It is our heart to honor one another above ourselves and to have a church culture of friendship before, during and after function. Though we don't claim to be perfectionists at this essential value - we see it as a core foundation of what Jesus taught and what we endeavor to be. We are privileged to be walking alongside many churches, friends and leaders across the globe who have input and interest in our well being. Some of these friends have what we call "Apostolic" anointing to speak into the life of our community and help us keep accountable to... upholding a culture of honor, forgiveness and deep love towards one another while we build, shoulder to shoulder, the Kingdom Of God.

We see the power of friendship here in Acts 20 and 21 starting with Acts 20:37

36When he had said this, he knelt down with all of them and prayed. 37They all wept as they embraced him and kissed him. 38What grieved them most was his statement that they would never see his face again. Then they accompanied him to the ship. 21:1 1After we had torn ourselves away from them, we put out to sea and sailed straight to Cos.

This is a great experession of friendship - as the apostle Paul was leaving...they grieved at the thought of not seeing each other for a long time. This may sound sad - but it is actually amazing that friends can feel this way about each other. This is what love does. This is part of the Apostolic heart of God. We believe church should be built with this heart of friendship.

The greatest example is shown by Jesus, the head of our church, when he called his disciples friends (John 15). "...greather love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends".
